Tools to Increase Access to Services
This course, Tools to Increase Access to Services, provides tools for agencies to increase service accessibility for
sexual violence victims who have disabilities. To a great extent, utilizing the
tools will require an agency to work offline to gather information, assess
current practices and plan for change. The tools include a programmatic and
policy accessibility checklist, a physical accessibility checklist for existing
facilities, a review of intake practices, and a process to develop a transition
plan for improved access to services.
