Collaboration to Enhance Services
This course, Collaboration to Enhance Services, focuses on initiating and enhancing partnerships among professionals and agencies in the community to improve access to services for sexual violence victims. It explores what collaboration is, provides a tool to assess existing collaborative efforts, discusses action planning to enhance collaboration and offers an agenda to facilitate an initial stakeholders meeting to form or improve partnerships among service providers. It examines how collaboration can help create positive social change in a local service delivery system. In addition, the course offers guidance in creating a community resource list and discusses the benefits of and process for formalizing collaborative work.
