College Campus Training

This course, College Campus Training, focuses on the problems of sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking on West Virginia college campuses. This course discusses the scope of the problem of interpersonal violence on college campuses, as well as college responsibilities for responding to and preventing interpersonal violence. It explains what students can do if they experience interpersonal violence on campus or if another student discloses it to them. It also identifies factors associated with risk of interpersonal violence and factors that buffer against it. Additionally it discusses how to recognize signs or behaviors that lead to the perpetration of interpersonal violence and take action to intervene before violence occurs and/or escalates.
